WHAT IS SP3?

SP3 stands for Softball Physical Progressive Program. This is a  year-round SOFTBALL SPECIFIC strength, speed, agility, and injury prevention program that follows a science backed, progressive overload approach.

PRE-season

Pre season softball is short and aimed to get you in peak physical conditioning. There is a lot more speed and agility taking place in this program as well as tapering down frequency of training to match the increased demand of practice.

IN-season

In-season softball training is designed to maintain the strength that you built in the off season and conditioning from preseason. Our focus is staying strong, having a good balance of training and softball and keeping condition and endurance high.

POST-season

This is your 4 week deload, backed by science. You have played a lot of games in a short time period. Use the Post-Season to help you recover physically and mentally. You will encounter lower training intensity.

OFF-season

Off season is the time to put in the work and gain strength. Off Season is designed to be done when games and practices are the least frequent so you can really push hard in the gym. We will gradually increase frequency, load, and intensity.

Workouts are designed to keep softball players at their best all year long. Athletes will stay in shape, get stronger, be faster, and learn about proper training balance. By choosing SP3 you will be given a blueprint of when to load your body vs de-load and how to increase your overall athleticism. When followed properly you will decrease your chances of overuse injuries that come from overtraining. We have your back!

Levels &
Progressions

SP3 offers 2 different levels that each contain 3 workout options. As you get further into the season, the movements progress to be more challenging and working sets change to continue to challenge your new strength.

LEVEL 1

Beginner to some softball experience

Suggested Ages: 10-18

LEVEL 2

Good softball foundation to experienced

Suggested Ages: 14-18
